AMAZING near 100 YEAR OLD PAPER BILLBOARD.
In the early days of outdoor advertising, each of the 24 sections of a 24-sheet poster was pasted onto the billboard by hand.. When I found this; 1998, each section was shrink wrapped and I had Garo Gallery assemble it. Now linen mounted approx 10’X20’. Comes rolled in a 6” PVC pipe. Excellent condition all over. The same artist who mounted it in1998 just cleaned it.
Shows a 1926 B Model Harley Davidson Single cylinder motorcycle.
There were a few of these discovered mid 90’s. NOS 24 poster sheets and a glue bucket 6X4 cover a billboard.. Now in a PVC pipe to be sold at Mecum Auction Las Vegas February 1, 2025 Beautiful excellent condition. NO RESERVE
