All original, dusty as found. Still has partial label from Finster's shop in Trion, Georgia. Finster moved to Pennville in 1961.

Finster is one of the better known American outsider artists

I bought this from David Davies when he cleaned out his premier folk art collection, around 2000. My father lived on his estate for about 10 years.

Many of the pieces from this collection are now on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC and The American Folk Art Museum in NYC.
